Best Is Good Enough Academy’s girls’ sports team had done the unthinkable, they took on the competition, soared through the finals, and emerged as cup champions.

Leading this squad of determined young women was a teacher-coach whose vision went far beyond the scoreboard.

“These girls showed everyone what belief, teamwork, and courage can achieve. They’ve written themselves into school history,” the coach beamed. A Journey Defined by Resilience. Their season wasn’t a walk in the park. Juggling academics, gruelling training sessions, and high expectations, the team faced each match with unwavering focus.

The young stars of Best Is Good Enough Academy have proven that determination, heart, and talent can outshine experience. In a thrilling display of teamwork and resilience, our Under-9, Under-11, and Under-13 boys’ teams competed with outstanding spirit, facing off against well-established school teams in a recent tournament.

Many of our opponents have long histories in competitive school sports, yet our boys, newcomers to the scene rose to the challenge with courage and commitment. Match after match, they displayed exceptional skill, overcoming the odds and securing victories that left a lasting impression across the Sedibeng District East.

This triumph wasn’t limited to the boys’ performance. The Academy’s pride soared even higher with our girls’ team clinching the cup in a fiercely contested final, a victory that symbolizes the growing strength of girls’ sports at our school.

Recognition is now echoing throughout the district, as Best Is Good Enough Academy cements its reputation as a rising force in school sports.
