Government has taken a significant step to bolster national security and intelligence integration with the official launch of the National Centre for Intelligence Coordination (NCIC), a move aimed at enhancing the country’s ability to anticipate, detect and neutralise evolving threats.
The Minister in the Presidency, Ms. Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, presented coins adorned with the insignia of the National Centre for Intelligence Coordination (NCIC) and distinct markers of duty to the principals of the newly established NCIC.
The recipients included the Acting Coordinator for Intelligence, Dr. N. Sifolo; the Acting Director-General of the State Security Agency, Ambassador T. Msimanga; the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Lieutenant-General T. Mxakato; and the Divisional Commissioner of Crime Intelligence, Lieutenant-General D. Khumalo.
